Dr. Nimish Singh

Dr. Nimish Kumar Singh is a Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea and Anterior Segment at ASG Eye Hospital, Patna. He completed his MBBS and MS (Ophthalmology) from Ranchi University, followed by a long-term fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment at the prestigious LV Prasad Eye Institute, Bhubaneswar.

Dr. Singh’s expertise spans across cataract surgeries (Topical Phacoemulsification, SICS), corneal transplants (PK, PK Triple, DSEK, DMEK), pterygium excision, management of corneal ulcers, keratoconus, dystrophies, and ocular trauma. His surgical experience includes over 3,000 SICS and 700 phacoemulsification procedures, along with extensive corneal graft surgeries.

He has several peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals, including pioneering case reports on infectious keratitis and corneal endothelial disorders. Dr. Singh has also been recognized with multiple awards, including the Dr. V.S. Gupta Gold Medal for Best Free Paper at JHOSCON 2017 and First Prize in the Quiz competition at JHOSCON 2018.
