Dr. Reetika Sharma has done MBBS from Patna Medical College Hospital, Patna with distinction in Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and ENT. She was awarded Dr G Achari Gold Medal for highest marks in Pharmacology and Dr Achyutanand Gold Medal for highest marks in ENT. She did her Post Graduation in Ophthalmology from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. She did DNB (Ophthalmology), FRCS Glasgow (I, II), FAICO (Glaucoma) and was awarded MNAMS degree. She did her Senior Residency from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi in Cataract, Glaucoma and Refractive Services. She was awarded the BEST SENIOR RESIDENT AWARD there.

Dr. Sharma has over 30 indexed publications. She has co-authored over 25 poster and oral presentations in national and international conferences. She has authored various chapters and books. She was in the editorial board of DOS and DJO PUBLICATIONS. She has participated in DOS Postgraduate teaching programs, AIIMS undergratuate, optometry and postgraduate teaching

She is specialized in cataract surgery with the latest implants, refractive surgeries and trabeculectomies. Her special interest is in glaucoma management both medical and surgical. She is striving her best for educating the society regarding this disease
